Diána Vonnák Co-Organised Symposium on War Documentation and Narratives in Lviv
Our postdoctoral researcher Diána Vonnák participated in the organization of the symposium The Most Documented War: Polyphony of Stories in Lviv and moderated the roundtable “The Power to Speak: Narratives and Audiences,” contributing to discussions on war documentation, testimony, and the politics of narration.

MEMPOP Roundtable as Part of the dMSA Online Event Series
On 4 June 2026, the MEMPOP team will hold a dMSA roundtable "Memory and Populism in Borderland Regions in Eastern and Central Europe” on how memories of marginality, loss, injustice, and historical transformation are mobilized in borderland regions of Eastern and Central Europe.

MEMPOP Presented During Visit of Czech President to the Institute of Ethnology
On 1 April Czech President Petr Pavel visited the Institute of Ethnology, as part of his visit meeting centres of excellence within the Czech Academy of Sciences. Diána Vonnák presented the key research areas of the MEMPOP project.
