Listening to the Alienated: Johana Wyss and MEMPOP in A-Magazine

An article about Johana Wyss, her research, and the MEMPOP project was featured in the latest issue of A-Magazine, published by the Czech Academy of Sciences.

 

The piece Listening to the Alienated (pp. 38–43) explores the rise of populism not only in the Czech Republic but across Europe and beyond. Instead of focusing on politicians, their speeches, or party programs, it highlights MEMPOP’s project main research question: why do the words of populist leaders resonate so strongly with so many people?
